FAIR YOUTH TALENT CHAMPION
This was one of the largest state talent competitions in the
state of Indiana. Hundreds of contestants from participating counties compete in the preliminaries of their local
Indiana county. From that point, the contest concludes with week long finals at the annual Indiana State Fair. The final
competition narrows the hundreds to one in categories such as dance, drama, instrumental, vocal, and variety. 1991 was
the year where a magician, at the age of 18, won the entire competition....Sean Scott. The first time in the history
of the Indiana State Fair a magician had won the prestigious award.
-2001 INTERNATIONAL MAGI-FEST ANNUAL CONVENTION SENIOR TALENT STAGE CHAMPION

The above magic conventions are held annually in Columbus, OH and Colon, MI. These are where professionals and
enthusiasts return to further the art of magic. With world renowned stage and close-up magicians giving unrivaled
performances, lectures, and wisdom to those who also wish to do the same, these conventions are some of the most important
pillars of the magic community. The competitions held here draw performers from all over the earth who come not only
to showcase their abilities, but to compete for "The Gold". Sean not only won "The Gold", but
won twice in the same year at two separate major magic conventions. Sean is truly, "a magician's magician".
HONORS:
-"INSIDE THE HOUDINI MUSEUM"
In 2002 Sean was hand selected to appear in a documentary
produced by The Travel/Discovery Channel called "Inside The Houdini Museum". This program highlighted the
life and times of the "World's Greatest Escape Artist", Harry Houdini. The show selected only
a handful of magicians to participate. Sean's unique version of Houdini's most famous illusion called "The
Metamorphosis" was featured in the documentary, due to it's originality and the speed in which it's performed.
Internationally famous magician Lance Burton (currently at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas, NV) was also featured in the
program with Sean. The program has aired repeatedly on The Travel & Discovery Channel.
